Hey~
Yesterday, I made a trip to Ulta and purchased two Real Techniques brushes: expert face brush and the setting face brush. Normally, I apply my tinted moisturizer with my hands, but after always watching pixiwoo videos, I decided to get a (expert) face brush and see if it made any difference.
Now I'm wondering... do you all deep clean your face brush after every single use? Or maybe spot clean it once, and then deep clean after the second use? Like I said, I normally just apply tinted moisturizer with my hands so I'm new to brush using for my liquid face products.

I really should deep clean it after every use, but I'm terrible about that. I spot clean them all daily and then deep clean a batch of them every few days (eyeshadow brushes don't get reused, so it's when I've got a few of those stacked up that I wash them thoroughly). Others probably have much better habits than I do, though!

Yeah, all my other brushes (eye and blush... always use powder for those), get cleaned at least once a week, or once every week and a half.

I spot clean my eye brushes daily, because it's easy to spritz and rub quickly, but foundation or face brushes should be deep cleaned at least twice a week. If you think about it, when you sweep it over your face, it's going to collect any sebum/oil or even left over product from washing that may be there, so I try to deep clean those often to avoid breakouts =]

I think I've decided to just do it everyday. It's only one brush so it's not really a big deal in the end. It could be worse. I could be deep cleaning ALL my brushes everyday... which would be torture, hahahaha.

I only deep clean my personal brushes once a week if I use them daily, even my foundation brush, I just wipe the excess foundation off on a makeup towel. I spot clean my liner and lip brushes after I use them.
