I've heard many great things about almond oil. I recently bought some just waiting to get it in the mail. I'll probably just use it as a treatment, leave it in for a couple of hours and then wash off. But, I wanted to know your experience with it! :)

Grapeseed oil is really good too. Especially if your hair has a tendency to get dry quickly. This oil helps my hair stay moisturized through washes and it helped to smooth out my hair cuticle as well because my hair is pretty much tangle free now :) I haven't tried almond oil myself. It is a carrier oil (to be mixed with something else like egg yolks and then rinse out) and it's the protein in the almond oil that helps your hair grow.
@Nichole do you mix the almond oil with anything else? Like an essential oil or do you just apply it to your hair as is?

I love sweet almond oil for my hair, as well as my skin. It leaves both my hair and skin very soft and supple and I love that. I tend to use sweet almond oil in my deep conditioners, as well as a sealant for my hair during my daily moisturizing/sealing method. My hair loves almond oil and my skin is fond of it too.

I tried putting almond oil on my hair and left it all day long... it's no longer dry but did take away a lot of the volume and felt it was very dull... but it did what no product could... un dry it!
