Personally I have used Pollysporin Antibiotic Ointment for the dark marks(I think they have one specifically to fade scars). I used it twice a day with my normal skin care routine(post cleanse but pre moisturizing). It took about two weeks before I noticed a difference, but within another two weeks they were gone! If you have oily skin, I suggest using it just at night so it works while you sleep. Hope this helps- it worked wonders for me!
What I use is a night cream sold in CVS called Esoterica (retails $8.00) I apply it to the area after I cleanse and moisturize every night, give it about 2 to 3 weeks to see a change. It has done wonders for me.
I have dark spots too from old acne scars. I've been using Clinique Even Better moisturizer. I'm definitely noticing results. I've just started using it about a week ago and I'm already seeing a difference. It says to use it twice a day, but I usually just use it once because I use a topical gel at night. I definitely recommend this for dark spots though!
This is a good one. I use Clinique's Even Better Dark Spot Corrector as well, I love it, it really has faded my scars, scars that I could see after foundation and no concealer, I now can't see with just foundation, and most have cleared completely. I am almost out so I want to know what else works because it was pretty pricey! I most likely will go back to it once I feel like paying that much again.
I've heard great things about Clinique's Even Better Dark Spot Corrector, but because I'm on a budget I ended up getting Garnier Nutriesse's Dark Spot Corrector and holy cow! I noticed my acne scars were significantly lighter the next morning! I've been using it only three days now and I'm already to the point where I don't need concealer! It is so amazing!
Estee Lauder Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator, it's a serum that you apply daily before your moisturiser. It's the only non prescription product on the market that can legally claim to provide NOTICEABLE results in a little as 2 weeks.
I had acne and now I'm dealing with the scarring. I'm using Glymed Bleaching Fluid along with Glymed AHA accelerator. (We use this in our spa) I'm noticing amazing results! There are a ton of products out there that will help though. But just remember to always wear your SPF. I can't say that enough! If you're using skin lightening products and your going out in the sun without it, it will actually darken those spots and make it worse. Hope this helps :)
you could try Avons "luminosity Pro Brightening serum" Its a bit pricey but I hear its soposed to work wounders. But if you are skettchy you can always ask an Avon rep to give you some free samples or if you do buy it and you dont like it, you can always retrun it and get your money back even after you opned it and tryed it

I've tried everything under the sun. Murad worked the best for me, the Post acne mark lightening gel (lightens dark spots from acne and treats acne!)..The over the counter lightening creams will clog your pores leading to more breakouts and scarring. Wish you clear & even skin! =)

Don't forget spf 30 everyday while lightening and after to prevent re-darkening. spf is a must or the lightening will not take effect. sun protection is very important.
