My skin is average it’s not bad but it’s also not amazing and I know my skin has potential to look porcelain and it has before. I’m actually so embarrassed because I haven’t been following a skin care regime lately . So from now on I am aiming for porcelain skin *
and you could join me if you want.

Step1:♥
Wipe off your eye makeup and lipstick with a makeup wipe or
makeup remover. The area around the eye is delicate so don't pull or rub too hard. Instead of a makeup remover I prefer using Elizabeth annes baby shampoo or olive oil/almond oil with a cotton pad and for stubborn thick black eye makeup I find that aqueous cream on a cotton pad works well and for under the eye use a Q-tip

Step2:
I alternate between two cleansers Benzac Ac5 (it contains benzoyl peroxide so it works well when I get a break out) and Cetaphil .
Use warm water to loosen dirt and clogged pores. Use a dime-sized bit of cleanser, then rinse with cool or lukewarm water
In the morning, a splash of lukewarm water is all you need. I find that if I cleanse my face twice a day it dries up way too much.

Cleansing techniques:
Cleanse your face, your neck and your décolletage area this is a must.
Massage the cleanser in and focus on congested areas take your time with this.
Rinse your face and pat it dry with a clean cloth that no one has used or a paper towel (remember you don’t want to put bacteria back on your face.)

♥♥♥
Step 3: Toner:
To some people a toner is not that important. It is needed when you would like to rebalance your skins PH or when you are preparing for absorb a treatment (cream and etc.).

Step4:Exfoliate: (once a week)
Exfoliating keeps your skin glowing, radiant and keeps pores clean and unclogged and helps reduce breakouts by removing top layer of dead cells and clogged pores

There are two methods of exfoliating:
Manual : (beads, cloths, pumice and etc.)
Chemical : (malic acids, fruit acids, glycolic acids, alpha hydroxy acids, beta hydroxyl acids and etc.)

For acne and frequent breakouts do not use manual exfoliantion. If you turn red while exfoliating decrease the pressure, it should not hurt.
one of the reasons men's skin looks more youthful than women's is because men tend to exfoliate daily when they shave.
I once heard that using a soft bristle electronic toothbrush is an excellent exfoliator for your skin. I haven’t tried it out yet. I would assume it would work like the clarasonic.

Step 5: serums (pore minimizer, hydration serum, age serum and etc.)
Find the correct serum for your skin type and it will work wonders. Start by massaging the serum into your forehead down to the sides of your face then down to your neck with your finger tips. Massage your nose bridge to the tip of your nose as if you are trying to sharpen your nose. Then massage the rest of the serum on your cheeks working your way down to your neck. Massaging your skin improves circulation, improves texture and slows down ageing and by massaging your face in this particular manner helps to drain out toxins from your face.
If you starting to notice fine lines you should start using Retin A immediately.

Step6: moisturize♥
Moisturize your skin after you tone, make sure you are also wearing an spf if your moisturizer doesn’t already have one. Once you are done tap your fingers on your skin to improve circulation and this just relaxes you.

Just so your care regime is effective:
· sterilize your cell phone with rubbing alcohol once a day , you wouldn’t want to be transferring bacteria from your cell phone to your cheek
· It is recommended to change your pillow case everyday (I don’t do this)
· Don’t touch your face with dirty hands.
· Tie your hair back when you go to bed.

Even if you have great skin right now, that’s excellent for you, it gives you a chance to be ahead of the aging game, but that’s only if you take good care of your skin right now!

I use oil as a makeup remover, too! I like a mix of olive, sunflower and coconut oil- really a simplified version of my body moisturizer. It's been working great for me.

I like that you label exfoliation as once a week. I know a lot of people who think: "Oh, it gets rid of dead skin, I should do it every day!" But your skin only dies off so quickly, and too much exfoliating just removes more layers of skin and leaves your face vulnerable to sun damage. I've been using only manual exfoliators, though, I should try to switch to chemical and see if that helps me out any.

I've been working on not touching my face (especially when I work landscaping!) and change my pillowcase more often. I noticed a difference when I started drinking more water, too.
