A good way to organize your beauty products is start with your brushes and then gather all bushes into section within the small brushes and big brushes, then get all mascaras and gather them together with all mascaras. Then get all eyeliners and gather together , with all eyeliners. After that is done gather all eyeshadows and pallets together in order to make the eyeshadow more organized. In other word make gather all beauty product and section them out to make them more organized <3 :)
i made a simple desk, my nail polish is in a drawer and so are my cleaning supplies. i have small baskets for generic everyday stuff. some small boxes for hairpins etc. which is on top of the desk. so are my brushes and hairproducts. my make-up is in an old sowing box which has different compartments. my brushes are standing up in a handmade container. everyday make-up is organized in a basket. storage prabably cost under €10
I have problem with storing my makeup since i can't find what I want in shops. I want just simple clear bin with few drawers. At the moment I got bin with 2 drawers in cardboard black with white roses. But I think I will get one more, this is not enough for all my makeup. Before I had plastic bins, and I stored them on shelves.
I use a six drawer Sterilite system, and then use drawer dividers and silverware holders on the inside to store everything. It works, but it's definitely not the prettiest! I want to upgrade to a nice vanity with some clear cubes.
Im currently storing it in my dressing table/vanity, but I am quickly running out of room! I was thinking of purchasing the Alex unit from Ikea, has anyone tried it?
I have done a blog post on my vanity storage :) Please check it out and follow! xxx
I bought the big three drawer thing from Walmart from a brand called Sterlite, and it fits everything perfectly. I have a little filer caddy on top of it that holds my palettes.
I currently store them in office drawers and my desk drawers. I want to get some acrylic containers from muji but their kinda expensive in Singapore and my desk is actually a built-in computer desk so it's kinda small. I plan to get the 5-drawers L acrylic containers for like my MSF and future MAC eyeshadows cuz I don't like depotting my eyeshadows but apparently they don't have it in stock and only have the small 3-drawers kind. So I'm thinking how many of them should I buy and again, they're not cheap..
I can't upload a picture but I'm super organized so here ya go:
Brushes- I have a cylinder container I got from the dollar store. I can stand my brushes up and it doesn't take up much room.
Pigments- I got a Tupperware container, organized them ROY G. BIV and that's all that goes in there.
Mascara, eyeliners, etc- I got another cylinder container, and put them all in there. All my mascaras, eyeliners, lip liners, pretty much anything that can stand up goes in there.
Foundations, powder and blushes- I have a wicker basket that my pigment container is in, I sectioned it off and put all my oddly shaped items in one side of it.
Palettes- I have a tin container they can lay flat in.
Now that I've said it, it doesn't sound too organized but it looks pretty nifty.
i also have the one that Lauren S has nd they are great to store makeup and wont look messy i have two on my drawer and makes it look super neat and not messy bc i have a lot of makeup too plus you can store some stuff on top of them too. and they cost about 5 dollars each or at target too ; )
For storing my beauty products, I use this 10 drawer marble organizer. It's from Office Depot, and it sells for $49.99. It has wheels, so it's very easy to store, then roll to you when you're doing your makeup. It also comes in white/black, white/pink, rainbow, and I'm sure other colors as well. Hope this was helpful;D
Xoxoxo,
Madison
I put all my make up on the bathroom windowsill, in one section is eyes, another section lips, a third section face, and the last section nail polish and care.
I separate each section with drawing a line of pretty pattern with marker pen and all my face care like make up remover, cleanser, exfoliator etc. are lined up neatly by the side of my sink.
I'm a little OCD with keeping it looking neat and perfect ;)
Well....I don't have that much makeup(more than average), but I still think that my input would help. I put all of my extras/things I don't use much in my caboodles train case. The rest of my makeup, I put in the three plastic pull out drawer thing. I put my brushes in a pail/bucket with glass marbles, and my lipsticks and some nail polishes in a plastic lip stick holder I got off amazon. I put my palettes in a back stand. To see my vanity that shows this, just go to my profile and you'll see the video. It was made 2 weeks ago, pretty current. .
Storage drawers, top has mascara, eyelashes & lash curlers. Second has eyeliners & shadow palettes, the bottom has concealers, foundations, bronzers, & brushes! My lip products in a little dish off to the side haha!
