This morning I woke up wanting to do a green eye look and realized that I don't have not one green in my collection. I have a teal shimmer but it leans more on a blue than a true green. So ladies and gents I'm in need of a great green eyeshadow that will work with my brown eyed peeps.What do ya suggest?
I love greens, from mint to grass to forest. I don't have a favorite because all the greens I have I love. Fyrinnae has some great greens if you don't mind loose shadows. Mac has a nice grass green in their Pro Longwear collection and of course there is the always fantastic Humid. Maybelline 24 color tattoo has a nice green too, but it's bright. If you can grab Mac's Juxt, GET IT. It is has been discontinued, but the counters should still have some. Juxt is a nice intro to greens. It is a creamy mint shade, not too bright, not too tame. Goes great with blues for a nice summer look and can be tamed with a brown in the crease. It's easy to find a good green in a makeup line you trust (MAC, UD, MUFE, INGLOT, etc.) It just depends on the intensity. My favorite greens are those that have a bit of gold shimmer or a duochrome quality.
I have a lot of greens in my collection with swatches on my blog.
Nichole H. I totally forgot about your blog!!! When I get out from this meeting I'm gonna hit it up. Green is my all time fave color and I can't believe I don't have any eye color shades. And upon further discovery I need to amp up my purple shades as well. The list grows.....lol

One of my favorites that I don't think you can get anymore is Urb by Urban Decay. There is a NYX eye pencil in the color Lime Green that is similar to the shadow:) The name sounds intimidating but the color is laid back. I like to use it on my lower lash line sometimes too! Kush and Mildew by UD are also great. If you are looking for brighter/shimmery greens there is a Wet n Wild trio called I dream of Greenie, I think Xsparkage did a nice little review on the trio. Like Nichole said there is a Maybelline color tattoo in Edgy Emerald, its a very pretty emerald but it seems almost blue green to me. A pretty color for sure. Thanks for reminding me about greens though I feel like I've been stuck in a rut of browns and golds!
@Terra M. I felt the same way. I love my UD Naked Palette but I was using it every single day. Then the hubby asked me what happened with my other shades and I started hunting for something else. The only thing that was getting switched up was the lippies.lol
