I've been using it for the past week or so, washing after every use, but I was curious as to what you use to wash it and does it ever become fully clean?

With my Beauty Blender I use the cleanser that it comes with when you buy the two sponges but if you don't have that then you can just use baby shampoo. I like to dampen the sponge first then apply the cleanser then just rub it in until all the make up washes out. It does get clean but due to the fact that liquid foundation stains the sponge it will always be stained but lightly. Also everytime you wash it the color washes out also. You will notice a bit of fading.

Staining was my issue, good to know that it's normal! I don't have the Beautyblender soap, so I have been using shampoo. :)
I use a nice foaming face cleanser. Right now I'm using Neutrogena deep clean and it works like a charm! It gets most of the stains out pretty easily

I'll try a face wash next, thanks Fancie!

I agree with Fancie B. use a face cleanser, after all it's going on your face. But also remeber, you CANT keep washing it every time. After so manny washes it just isnt going to get clean or better. You should be replaceing these every 3 or 4 months depending on how often you use them. If you use them ALOT with heavey make up then I sudgest you replace them more offten. Its kinda like Shoes. You can clean them all you want but after a sertaine amout of time they WILL need replaceing, Especially if you use them all the time

The only product that I've found that works just as great as the BB Cleanser (if not better) is Burt's Bees Natural Acne Solutions Purifying Gel Cleanser. It's about $10 at Wal-Mart...I rub the soap over the sponge while it's dry to really work it in there and then rinse. Sponge looks brand new!

Ulta has a sponge and brush cleaner it's pretty cheap only $8-10 dollars. I use my beauty blender everyday and its been months. This cleaning stuff takes out every stain, makes it smell really clean, and also doesn't let it fade.
I'm so glad to have read this, I have the pure (white one) and it stains something terrible, I'm glad to read its normal and I'm not the only one!

The cleaner that comes with it, also normal dish washing liquid on stubborn stains, the stains are inevitable though, I have a tonne of beauty blenders in my kit and after the first couple of uses they never stay perfect :)
(although I have the pink ones, not white) x
