has anyone tried doing watermarble nails?...i think this would be so pretty for summer...i tried it yesterday and failed horribly...any tips or ticks please let me know...:)
i did try...using bottled water vs tap...different polish brands...bigger bowl vs smaller bowl to drop colors into...sigh...dont know what else to try...
I've used tap water before, and I usually cut the bottom of a water bottle and use that. Also I've seen some tutorials where there apply tape around the nails so it doesn't get so messy.
best advice would be to keep trying, you will get better each time!
and as you noticed not every polish works, you will want to use slow-drying polish, otherwise the polish will dry on the surface before you start creating your design.
it's always a play of trial-and-error :(
oh and keep the water close to room temperature
maybe the beauties here can list their favorite brands for watermarbling :)
I would start by saying China Glaze
thank you toshira and tanja....havent tried the tape trick yet toshira, i will try it today... ive got some china glaze polish tanja, just wasnt the colors i was wanting but heck at this point i dont care about colors...just if it works i would be thrilled... thanks agian ladies great advice..:) xo sarahann
