I was just wondering what do you ladies spend your most time doing when getting ready in the morning? Do you put all your energy in your hair or do you put extra time on the make up. I personally enjoy doing my makeup more than my hair, I am one to admire other girl makeup skills more than a awesome here style what do you girls think? I would really love to know :) Post your favorite hair or makeup looks as well :) Take care ladies
I spend more time on my makeup too! I love doing hair but make up is more fun because you can change to colours and it changes your whole look! I love doing a classic black cat eye with coloured eye shadow!
I focus on makeup for sure. What I usually do is take a shower at night, put some product in my hair, and either braid it or put it in a bun so when I wake up I already have it styled! Then I do my makeup for like 30 minutes hahaha I think makeup is more important to work on because hair is so easy to fix- just throw it in a bun or a ponytail or put on a hat and BAM hair problem solved!
Really it depends if i'm washing my hair that day because drying and styling takes an extra 15-20 mins. Actually now that I think about it, I put on make up in 5 mins and spend the rest of the time doing my hair... haha
I agree taking most of your time on the make up is worth is. Hey ones your done no one will really care your hair is in a messy bun, they will be to busy focus on the beautiful creation on your face :D
I spend more time on my makeup. I leave my hair down and the way it is... just straightening my bangs and then adding hairspray all over. Very rarely do I straighten it all or do fancy hairstyles.
I spend more time on my makeup. I'm very particular about my hair but I prep at night for whatever style I'm wearing the next day and usually everything turns out fine. I'll take a good 15-20 minutes obsessing over my makeup though lol
I would definitely say makeup as well. Since I'm natural, I either prep my hair at night or wear a style throughout the week so it gives me more time to make a flawless face.
Ugh, I suck at hair. I can't really do anything with it, and I think it looks fine naturally anyway. I love doing my makeup, and I spend probably... About 20 minutes every morning. That's why I have to wake up at 5:30. Bleh.
I have really straight hair, so I was pretty much curling it everyday until I got a hair cut last week, now I have side bangs so it's not so flat, plus it won't hold a curl now that it's just healthy hair -__- I spend probably 10 minutes from toner to lipgloss.
Definitely makeup. My hair always looks neat, but I don't style it differently everyday. I care more about the health of my natural hair versus styling and manipulating it daily.
It depends on what I'm dressing as that day! Sometimes it's all about the face. Sometimes I need a big, retro updo. I just cut my hair into the cutest square-layered shag so I can get away with airdrying sometimes, then I use the rest of my time on makeup. Or packing the kiddies lunches. I'm usually walking into the salon justinthenick of time either way!
That's a tough one because with thick mess of curls I have to stay on top of it or else it becomes a hot tangled mess. I'd rather my hair look on point. I can go without make-up.
Currently, I'm weaving so ALL of my time goes to makeup and my outfits. When I'm not weaving/wearing extensions my hair eats up All my time. It's HUGE, THICK, and TIGHTLY curled so I want NOTHING to do with it. I mean, i love it, but only for like a day or two. I swear I get massive muscles just trying to put it into a ponytail...i can't be bothered. In short? Makeup. I like wash and go hair, so I pay for it! ha ha
It all depends. If I want to have some great eye catching makeup, then I spend my time on that. If I'm not in the mood to wear lots of makeup and decide to go natural, I put lots of effort into my hair so I still stand out :)
Makeup! Hands down... I can throw my hair back in a sleek ponytail, but for me makeup makes the look... Natural makeup or extreme makeup people look at your eyes first, plus I really don't style my hair much I try to keep it as natural as possible <3
I like to focuse on my makeup, because if the hair doesn't like to go to the right place and I have a bad hair day, then everything's wrong but with more makeup you can save it :D
I'm definitely a makeup person. It's the first thing I do in the morning when getting ready, right after brushing my teeth. Lol. I think that matters to me more than hair because if I'm really not feeling it, I could just throw it up in a bun or braid or something and I'll still look well put together.
Makeup for me. I will spend maybe 2 hours doing my hair after I shampoo it, but when I have it fully styled properly then I can go four days without needing to style it again because i'll do fun, quick things like throw on a headband or backcomb or ponytail, etc. But makeup, for me, is a process than can take 1-2 hours every day for a full face, depending on how many extra steps I am taking or how complicated I want my makeup to be that day.
