So yesturday I recently went to get my hair trimmed and restyled because it was so grown out and it needed a good trim; but when she cut my hair she used a hair razor which gives split ends. What should i do? any products to help? ADVICE!

Have you actually looked at your hair and seen the split ends or are you assuming it gave you? I've heard they have special razors and special ways to use them so it doesn't cause split ends. Have you checked? And if there are, how far up the strand do they go?

The razor gives that effect of split ends but if u just got it cut like a week its probally not. I love cutting with the razor no harsh lines and makes the hair look blended and wispy

My hair dresser uses the hair razors most of the time, if it is used properly you won't get split ends.... I love the effect, I don't have any split ends.

I have a very hard time believing the hair razor gave you split ends. Razor-cut hair is supposed to have more texture (right?).

I love using the razor but there are some stylist who take it to the extreme... I am sure since it is freshly cut you feel like there is split end but unless she had a dull blade and tugged they probably are not split!
