I signed up for beautylish when I started youtubing in january, but I've just gotten around to using this site! Man, am I late to the party!!

1. Please check out my channel and support if you like what I do :) http://www.youtube.com/dimepieceonadime
2. I won't be posting any new tutorials until I get a new camera. I've been using my husband's canon t31, but it's a camera, not a camcorder so I need a camcorder with an LCD screen. I also don't want to spend more than $200US for this camera. Any suggestions?
3. Those of you who use Imovie, any of you notice that it messes up your import quality by exporting through quicktime? I've changed everything to the "correct" settings, but still, and It never seems to post in HD.
Thanks everyone,
Lisa

I'll definitely be supporting your channel once you're videos are back to normal, in the mean time could you please check out my channel and subscribe? It would mean so much to me. I use a Panasonic-HDC SD80 but I think that might be a bit out of your price range. I'm sorry but I don't use Imovie. Hope you can sort out your problem!:) xxx

You saw my vids? I mean the quality is still pretty good, i'm just a perfectionist, ha ha! Thanks for the advice. I subbed your channel :)

Hi! I know how you feel, I am always having difficulties with cameras. I use a Samsung SMX-F40 65X Intelli Zoom Flash Camcorder. I see coloured ones going online for a little over $200, but I'm pretty sure you can get a hold of a black one for less than that.

The video quality is good, and it comes with its own editing software, Intelli Studio (very basic, though) which also lets you upload the video on YouTube (so that should solve your Imovie quality problem). The software freezes up sometimes, but I think that might be my laptop (it's ancient and nonfunctional) and the software will always recover the file even if you don't save.

If you want to see the quality or anything else, you can check out my videos (and subscribe if you like ;D) - http://www.youtube.com/user/SingSimple

Hope that helped :)

Hey! I subscribed to you last night and was watching a few of your videos and I thought the quality was great! I also like how you address your viewers as dimes, it's cute and catchy :) As far as a camera, I recently purchased a Sony CX-190.... It was a little over $200, but the quality it gives me is excellent and it has a built-in USB port that plugs right in to your Mac and imports directly into iMovie with no problems at all. If I could suggest a new camera for anyone just starting out it would definitely be that one :) I'd love it if you could check out my channel! http://www.youtube.com/chaelxo

Good luck girly!
