ok. so i have a concert in a few days and i found a really cool hairstyle that id like to do. the main issue is that it requires that pouf thing (sorry for lack of technical term) in the front, and for most of the hair in my crown area, i realize that i will need to adapt it to work, but i dont quite know what to do. My bangs go to just below my eyes. Does anyone have any useful tips on making bangs work with those types of styles?

My bands are about that length too. All you have to do is pin it back in the poof style like you would with long hair, but you'll have to pin it wherever your bangs end (which will be closer towards your face). If that's what you're asking.

thanks. XD does it take a lot of hairspray for yours to stay up? im not a fan of teasing, but do you recommend it for this style?

My hair is really thick so all I have to do is add some hair oil and it stays. If your hair isn't thick, it'll take a little bit of hairspray, but the last thing you want to do is tease. Too much teasing damages the hair. Glad I could help :D

My bangs are about that length too and some days they stay up and some days they are so stubborn. On good days I can just twist and pin and then I use hairspray. On days that my hair is being stubborn I tease the long sections of hair that I grabbed and then I tease my bangs. Then I pin and spray.
Note* Second day hair is usually when I have my "good" days and freshly washed hair is usually stubborn, because my hair is thin and doesn't like to stay in one place.

Don't just use your bangs to create a poof, because that won't create enough volume. Grab all the hair in the front HALF of your head, and all the hair from one end of your forehead to the other (the width of your entire forehead). Use a comb to tease it. Teasing means putting a comb to it and moving it up and down to add volume. Use 2 bobby pins in a "criss-cross" fashion to pin the hair down. You can use some more bobby pins to ensure its security. Spray it over with hairspray to make sure its volume stays.
