I wash my face afterwards to remove any tiny leftover make up and to remove the oil from the make up remover.. My face already produces too much oil on its own ;p
Coconut oil... it removes everything, is gentle and smells awesome. Failing that try olive oil... same thing just doesn't smell of much. You don't need to spend lots of money on a good eye make up remover when you probably have the best option in your kitchen already.

I have Avon remover lotion, it works well and it's very gentle. Also do baby wipes work?

Try using Vaseline or some type of oil like coconut or olive. They remove makeup with ease and are beneficial to your skin too! It's a win win!
