I was so happy when I heard that the nude nail is back. I dont wear nail polish that often due to my job. They do allow us to wear nude color nail polish but I have never been able to find a good nude polish that doesnt chip off or wear off due to lots of hand washing. What is the best brand to buy that wont chip or fade?
You could try Revlon's Grey Suede. It's from their regular nail enamel line and I love it. Lasts about 4 to 5 days with a base coat and top coat. I work in the medical field and wash my hands often and it lasted pretty well. Essie has a lot of nude shades to choose from though and their lasting power is much better. You are more likely to find a nude just for your skin tone with their line.
L'Oreal's new nail polishes are great and they have a tone of nude-type shades to choose from; with a top coat I found that these polishes last about a week for me before chipping.
They key to less chipping is two thin coats of polish and a great base and top coat! I'm wearing the e.l.f. Cosmetics nail polish in Innocent. It's the perfect nude for me. You can see swatches of it on my blog to see if you like it!
I happen to like the nude polishes from O.P.I right now. My favorite nude color right now would have to be Barre My Soul; it's a great nude color, that has a shiny, jelly finish. I find that it gets opaque at 3 coats, but you can use less coats for a shiny finish.
I have been into nude nails for over two years now and I've tried them all. My favorite would have to be OPI Dulce Le Leche. Gorgeous nude that doesn't wash out your hands and with the right top and base lasts a long time.
