I LOVE Sephora foundation. It covers up my blemishes and evens out skin tone so well. The foundation is about $22 and the powder is $20. You can order it online at http://www.sephora.com if you are not near a Sephora store. Good luck!!
Yes, that one seams to work wonders on my skin. I have very oily skin and this stuff works wonders for me. I also recommend the Smashbox foundation. Its a little more pricey but SOOOOO worth it.
Since you are so young, and even though you have a few breakouts, I believe you have great skin under there. So a light foundation will work great well for you. Not too sure how light you are (people with really light skin tend to have a hard time finding foundation to match their skin tone. I saw your post in the other thread regarding if Revlon ColorStay foundation is good for you.... and I've heard people with really light skin mention that even the lightest color in RCS was too dark for them.)
So if you have a LUSH store at your mall, maybe you can look into their color supplements. Check this site out:
Jackie Oates are great for people with fair/light skin. People tend to mix it with their favorite moisturizer (I really love CeraVe which is a really great line found in drugstores such as CVS, Target, Walmart, Walgreens, etc.)
Not many people know about this, but Aldi (yes, the German supermarket chain) has this makeup brand called Lacura. The makeup is actually fantastic, good for your skin, and stays on longer than you could expect it to. It's the cheapest makeup I've ever used, too, 99 cents per foundation bottle. Trust me on this one! I know it seems suspicious, but I've used a lot of foundations. http://www.aldi.us/us/html/product_...
It's only available in four colors, but miraculously, it's the only foundation I've tried that's matched my skin perfectly. I know it sounds too good to be true, but after using this foundation, I'm not planning on switching to any others (or back to old ones - I've used Estee Lauder, Revlon, Sephora, etc). You can't even feel it on your skin, and it gives medium coverage.
I'll stop ranting now. I just really love it, okay.
Neutrogena Healthy Skin for sure. It's very light but has great coverage, it has a dewy finish on me, but I use a powder to take away a bit of the shine. I use foundation for redness and blemishes as well and I find this works really nice.
Just starting off and since your still young I would recommend the Maybelline's Nude AirBrush Foam Foundation, it gives you enough coverage to even out your skin tone but doesnt look like you just put on a full face on. You can also dap some powder on top for the more polished look.
My favorite drugstore foundation is Rimmel 25 hour foundation. It's under $10 and it has done a pretty decent job for me and its light-medium coverage. I am not quite sure about the color range but I am sure you can find one to match you or mix it with moisturizer!
