So now that I'm working I wanted to sign up but I don't know if its worth it because I'm being put on the waitlist. Does anyone have an approximate time frame for when you are moved off the wait list? Is it relatively fast or does it take forever? I know on the site they say they can't really give a time frame but I don't want to put myself on the waitlist and then be billed right as my summer employment ends. I'm really bummed out about this, I was under the impression that once they got up and running the waitlist wouldn't be an issue :/ My work is never steady so I haven't had an opportunity to sign up until now and I can't. Ugh!! lol.

I signed up in march and was on the waitlist but then received the april bag. they won't charge you until you're off the waitlist :) hopefully it won't take very long but I only had to wait a month.

It's usually about a week or 2. You'll probably be off in time to get the June bag. Ipsy is really popular right now and is totally worth the 10 bucks a month. :-)

@Keesha: It's a bag that has samples of products in it that you can get for $10 a month. You tell them what you like and then you get a random assortment.
@Ereeka: I've heard of birch box but I haven't looked at their site or anything. I may have to look today and see if I like it better. I just really like the idea of getting a makeup bag lol. I'm in need of some new ones and theirs are usually so cute. But I'll look into birch box before signing up for Ipsy :)
@Brandi, Alexa: okay, thanks guys!! I'll probably sign up after all. I just didn't want to bother with signing up if it was going to take 2-3 months. My current employment is seasonal so I didn't want to sign up if it was going to take forever because I'd just have to take myself off eventually anyway.

I actually canceled my birchbox since I was never a fan of anything I received and just signed up for the ipsy glam bag; I am also on the wait list. I'm interested to see how long it takes :)

I looked at Birch Box earlier and it seems cool but I'm more just looking for beauty products and they seem like they branch out waay further. I'd never turn down cool stuff but I wonder how much makeup/skincare stuff I'd actually get even if I selected a lot of it from the questionaire lol.

Glossy box and Sample society are muchhhhh better. Ipsy gives very cheap samples sometimes, however other times you are lucky

Everyone I know that has signed up for ipsy has been on the wait list different lengths of times but always received the next month's bag. For example: My bff was the wait list for 3 weeks (signed up beginning of march) and I was on it for 5 days (signed up late march). I have only had the 2 bags so far and both were so worth the money and I pay more then $10 ($15.90) here in Canada and its still so worth it! The sneak peeks for the June bag look amazing! Sign up!

I wasn't even put on the waitlist. I subscribed earlier tonight and they emailed me saying that my first bag is coming in July.

I just got an email a few days ago confirming that I'm off the waitlist! I wasn't expecting it to be so soon but I'm glad it is so I can take advantage of it while I have the money. I've been wanting to sign up for so long, since it was still called MyGlam. So I'm very excited :)

My sister and a few friends used my referral link and didn't have to wait. However I did have one friend who used it and was placed one a waiting list until she liked on Facebook then was removed the same day. So I'm not really sure how ipsy really goes. They just waitlisted me but offered me options to get off the waitlist. I just had to tweet, share and follow on youtube. It took 10 seconds.
