What are your thoughts on hair razoring with layered hair?

I have been getting my hair cut with razoring for a long time because of my medium-thick hair. I'm getting a haircut soon but I don't know if I would like to razor my hair again just to change things up. What are your thoughts on the way razored hair looks with long layers?

You could always switch it up and instead of using a razor you could ask them to use a texturizing shears they do the same thing as a razor they remove weight and bulk with nice movement :)
