Primer can even out your skin and make your foundation look more flawless. Concealer is more for covering blemishes.

Primer also helps keep whatever you put on top of it stay longer :) concealer covers imperfections whereas primers have no colour or coverage :)

Saying primers have no colour isn't really right. There are green primers for redness, purple primers for brightening dull skin and evening out skin tone, and white primers. You can also buy tinted primers, which would have more of a "skin colour", which is why that particular primer would be easy to confuse with concealer.
