Ive been thinking about doing one, and thats expected... you probably lost one subscriber but probably gained a lot more than that, I think it can be a effective way to get people interested you.

I've done it. I'm currently doing one right now. but yeah, that happens. people will sub just to get stuff and then when they don't win, they unsub.

i do giveaways all the time! ive had 3 i think on my channel so far. it is an easy way to get subscribers yes BUT its a nice way to thank them for being loyal and for watching. if they join the giveaway and then hate my videos they can unsubscribe, but if they join the giveaway and end up liking my others videos than thats great!

its all up to you. i love doing giveaways to thank my subbies, i really appreciate them!

ive had giveaways (currently have one running atm), i never enter comps where i have to ans a bunch of questions though so my giveaways are always simple. i find it weird how they unsub to you pretty rude!

That really sucks! I don't have a youtube account, i've got a blog though, and i've recently passed 150 followers, i have wanted to do one since i got 50 followers but i didn't because i knew it'd seem like i just wanted to gain followers.
I personally, just want to show my followers that i do appreciate them following me, and for me that's what a giveaway means. I'll be doing one soon though! I'm sorry to hear people un-subed, it's just rude, they're just giveaway-diggers ;) (sorry, i have the need to make sad jokes!)
