I guess the area around my eyes is oily, because my bottom eyeliner wears off within a few hours, it cakes up in the out corner of my eyes and under them. I always used water proof cause that used to fix the issue but it no longer does. I'm always trying something new but nothing seems to work so well, any ideas?
One thing that always helped me is setting the eyeliner with an eye shadow after you apply it. If not, one of my favorite pencil liners is the Cover Girl Liquiline Blast. It Is super pigmented and smooth and stays on for the majority of the day. Or you could try using a gel liner. My favorite is the Maybelline Gel Liner. Hope this helped!

my eyeliner that i put on my waterline used to wear off and cake up a lot too. usually its due to sweat or oilyness. usually, waterproof liquid eyeliners are good for top eyeliner, they do not wear off or cake. as for waterline eyeliner, its hard even when you use waterproof. something you can try is putting the eyeliner only on the outer side of your waterline, instead of your entire waterline. then also, instead of using an actually eyeliner for under your eye, you should use a black (or whatever color eyeliner) eyeshadow with a little primer underneath (if your oily, there are also primers for oily skin or lotions for oily skin to put under the primer).
if you do the waterline eyeliner only on the outer side of your waterline, it is less likely to cake up in the inner corner of your eyes. if it smudges underneath your eye, it will smudge into the eyeshadow underneath, and it wont be noticeable!
i hope this hhelpps! ;*
i have had the same problem and found a recent fix (at for me anyway) i take my life put it on and then i get the set and mist for elf and a tiny eyeliner brush i used the liner rather it be gel pencil liquid put it on then i take the liner brush dab it in the set and mist and then run it over the the liner i allow it dry (not closing your eye and holding the skin out a little) then repeat with the next eye. i get the set and mist and the linner brush from target or eyeslipsface.com for 3 a piece. hope this helps!

Dipping/spraying your eyeliner tip with setting spray always helps me.
