We always what to look perfect in anytime, anywhere. But do you know what happen to a girl with makeup and never erase it since she know about makeup? Finally after someone successeded to make her erase it,they check her face skin and the girl face skin is older 6 times than her age. So, what do you think for one day without makeup, girls?
I love makeup but I have to go without it for a few days out of the week. I need to let my skin breathe. I've recently gone the last 4 or 5 days without it. :) and I agree with Angelique on not becoming dependent on it.
Makeup is really fun... but is good to feel good with or without makeup... for me every day is different sometimes i do a full face sometimes just the eyes and on a sunny day... just lip balm to keep those lip moisturized
I go bare-faced more than being made up, although I LOVE all things MU. I'm starting to wear it a lot more, little simple looks here and there, but usually I am comfortable in my skin- I'm an artist and when I'm working its not practical, and I get lazy when I'm just sitting on my butt at home, or when I choose sleep over a full face look in the mornings before school! (I have so many awesome back to school MU looks I wanna do :D ) I have never depended on makeup to make me more beautiful because I think I look beautiful without it. I don't depend on it, in that sense. But I love being able to wear my art on my face, as opposed to on a canvas, and just being a girly girly getting dolled up, with glitz and glam! I agree, if you let your face breathe here and there, and properly take care of it, you shouldn't have any pre-mature aging problems.
I only just got back into makeup after a 4 or 5 year break but I've only really done it up 3 times in the past month and a half. I just haven't been doing much since my friends are all on the mainland or home on Maui for the summer. I stopped because my skin's very acne prone and when I got my eyebrow pierced I was worried that between my skin's tendencies and makeup it'd get infected. Afterwards I just didn't start up again. Now I know more about natural and organic cosmetics than I did then so I'm not all that worried about what my makeup will do to my skin. It also helps that I had so many years of acne and no cover up because I'm incredibly confident and comfortable in my skin, so to speak.
I go barefaced often because I go to the gym 6 days a week. I literally come out the gym soaking in sweat so its pointless to put on make-up prior but after I clean up I put it on. Especially if I had a early morning work-out.
I dont usually wear a ton of makeup, most days I just wear some mascara and a little blush, the only time I really do all the foundation and eyeliner and eyeshadow is for dance competitions :)
I take it "no makeup" means no face makeup... I go without face makeup every single day :) I guess I just don't see the point in going through all that effort, only to become a completely different person when you wash off your "face" at the end of the day. And I think Peggy's story has a great point: your skin is the biggest organ in your body (yes, your skin ins an organ! Who knew?), so whatever you put on it will end up inside of you. I can definitely see how a lifetime of makeup--all those chemicals and whatnot--would age your skin so much. All I use on my skin right now is my Cetaphil cleanser, St. Ives green tea scrub, the occasional dot of Duac as a spot treatment, milk of magnesia, and extra-virgin coconut oil.
I love playing with makeup and expierimenting. I think that, if you feel good on the outside, you feel good on the inside. However, as with all things, it should be in moderation. I heard about that girl who never took her makeup off. Im sure she had her reasons...but i think its good to flaunt your natural beauty once in awhile, and not have to be high fashion all the time. Every woman is beautiful naturally. Makeup just enhances it a bit, but not particularly necessary. I usually wear makeup when i go out, but on super hot days, liek at the beach or just when im home cleaning, its au natural!
I know there are pro and contra about letting your face skin to breath but I'm agree with Kima J. to be natural and Katherine S. wash off your face at the end of the day will also help for avoid pimples
I love the idea of makeup. It is pure art. I do however disagree when women feel they have to wear it or there're not beautiful. In most cases the ones who don't feel beautiful, are the most stunning women(:
I was a tomboy growing up and got into makeup I want to say "real makeup" during college. And this is my theory. Do what makes you happy. I don't wear makeup every day (I work from home so I just don't see the point in wasting it) but I don't go without makeup when I go out ANYWHERE. And I don't mean a full face. Sometimes I go outdoors with eyeliner and lipstick and THAT'S it. But I do not believe makeup ages you... I think forgetting to remove it, not moisturizing, going without SPF and not wearing heavier eye creams contributes to aging. I am also not a believer in getting so much makeup done where you do not look like yourself. (That's just me). I like enhancing, not changing. But yeah I love makeup but I am not obsessed with having it on my face 24/7, seven days of the week. BUT I do NOT walk out of my house without SOMETHING on. (:
For this summer, I've worn almost no face makeup just a bit of mascara and maybe a bit of liner someways. I love the feeling of no foundation of my skin (I only wear it for special occasions) and I don't even apply heat to my hair anymore I'm trying to go for a more natural look all around.
I think its great because you give your face a chance to breath & rest from all the makeup. Often times, i go out with just eyeliner. Embrace your natural beauty ;-)
I haven't been wearing a lot of makeup as of late because I've been focusing more on taking care of my skin. But when I do wear makeup, it's not every single day. I don't feel like I need makeup to feel confident in myself, but I like to wear it because it makes me look a little bit older than what people think I am. Most days, I just like to go out with my brows done, eyeliner, mascara, and a lip color and I'm perfectly fine for the day. It's more of a want for me, not a need.

I've worn makeup almost every day since 2009 and I still get asked if I'm 12-15 without makeup. And I'm 21.
Makeup doesn't bother me.

I love makeup, I don't wear it everyday but I don't think wearing it everyday will age your skin unless you're not taking care of your skin.

I really like to wear makeup, it's fun to experiment with different things. But in the weekend and sometimes on school I also don't wear any makeup.
