NYX and I always get flack for saying this but i like the coastal scents pallets they are cheap and good verity of colors. People will tell you they are not pigmented enough, or at least thats what my family tells me, we are all in beauty business of some sort, but applied wet they work great
For building a professional kit I'd stay away from the massive "I play in makeup" palettes like BH cosmetics or Coastal Scents... Yeah, they're cheap, but they're also low quality in comparison to actual professional grade products. As many have stated above, go with Inglot. Nyx is an awesome drugstore brand with great pigmentation. You can't lose with theatre brands like Kryolan, graftobian, Ben Nye, Cinema Secrets, etc. Sign up for and take advantage of Pro MUA discounts as well. You also can't go wrong with purchasing wholesale from private lable companies; but beware of the quality, go with companies that have a good reputation and offer high quality products. http://www.graftoncosmetics.com,http://www.pinnaclecosmetics.com/, and http://www.auralinebeauty.com/ are three great ones. Lastly check out KJB's inmykit.com, he has some great suggestions for what to carry in your pro kit
for more professional quality I say Inglot hands down! You will get hooked on a lot of their products. their gel liners are also amazing. I'd compare Inglot to how MAC used to be back in the day!

look at brands like graftobian and Ben Nye. Both are really good quality and low cost, theatrical make up is a good choice.

For a good price from a drugstore, you should try wet n' wild. They are highly pigmented and cheap.
