BB gives more coverage and does a lot more. A true BB is skincare + SPF+ full coverage foundation. Tinted moisturizer is just what it says.

True BBs are skincare + SPF + primer + coverage + whitening.

Western BB creams are basically overglorified tinted moisturizers.
