I would try lining and filling with a red liner and use the purple on top. Mix them to make a rich burgundy color for fall!

You can use a lighter lip gloss to lighten your lips up. You can try Revlon's Lilac pastelle.

I would SO rock that! That's just my style though.
I agree with Kathryn - I could see that looking absolutely gorgeous with a bright red lip liner under it. It'd tone it down & create a beautiful color.

For an everyday look, I'd dab the gloss on using a ring finger over my regular lipsticks. It would probably darken the colour a lil and give your lips a whole new look without it being too purple!

Thanks everyone for the wonderful advice! I'm definitely going to try out these tips. And thanks for not making me feel like it wasn't a too outlandish color. I'm definitely not used to bold lip colors.
