So i have been really wanting to start a beauty channel on youtube however i do not know where to start. i would like my videos to have great quality and i know that lighting is a really import part of that. Fashion, Makeup and hair styling is my passion so i know that sharing my knowledge will not be that hard. However i am shy, are there any tips to overcoming being camera shy? whats a good way to promote yourself? tips on picking the right channle name? Any good cameras? Whats the best way to set up great lighting? any specific bulbs? anything will help!
Thanks alot!!!! xoxo Danita!
To overcome being camera shy, it might take time. At first, keep a post it note near with notes on what your going to talk about, so you don't forget what to say. With time, it will come more natural :) and for cameras, I reccommend the canon rebel t3i. But most of all, just be yourself! Make videos about things you like, and just have fun with it! Good luck!!!
Here are a few things I suggest:
- maybe you can make a few practice videos to help you prepare for the actual thing. Get comfortable around the camera and you'll find what works best for you
- natural lighting is awesome in videos, use as much of it as you can
- I have the canon eos rebel t3i and I love it :) the only downside is that it doesn't have autofocus, so that may be an issue. If you want, you can check out the canon eos rebel t4i, though I haven't tried it out.
- be yourself, add your personality into your videos make yourself unique because it's what people look for alot these days :)
- Beautylish is a great way to promote yourself, so take advantage of that :) post your link in the introduce yourself section :)
So good luck making videos! It's really fun to do :)
Here's my channel if you're interested in checking it out. Sub if you like! Great things will come if you do ;) http://www.youtube.com/user/beautyo...
