I'm of African American decent and I have fairly dark skin. Any recommendations on some lip sticks or stains that would be nude on my lips?
Nude just means anything close to your skin tone. Wet N Wild 902c is a pretty good nude. You can always go for a pinky brown nude color.
I don't know how pigmented your lips are but you might want to check out MAC 'Touch' and a dupe to that one is Revlon 'Mink'. Its a nice nude and one that I personally wear myself.

Thanks girls :) my problem is that I buy colors I think would be nude on me then I take it home and try it on and it's just not quite there. But I'll try both of your suggestions :)

A few I recommend Fresh Brew, Peachstock, Velvet Teddy, and Freckletone.

Loreal is releasing a line of nude lip glosses that range from a super cream light nude all the way to a rich deep chocolate. I'm stalking its release at my local CVS so if you're into looking for a nude gloss formula as well its worth investigating this one.

Covergirl Lip Perfection has a crazy array of colors for nude lips for darker skintones. I would strongly recommend trying out 200 Sultry. The perfect pinky nude that's not too light.
