colour combinations for dying underside and top layers of hair different colours? Pictures would be good too :)

I have brown/burgundy on top, and currently purple on the underside! I'll soon be changing it to black on the underside for my new job though =/
I've been dying my hair this way with different color combos for years!
If I remember correctly, in that photo it was a mix of RAW hair dyes (bought at Hot Topic) but the most recent time I dyed purple I used one by Punky Colors (From Ulta) and the color and lasting power is AMAZING! I'd definitely recommend it, one use and I was in love!
I usually have my hair black on the top with pink underneath it. & I used pinky colors in rose red & it turned out bright pink. & lasted forever. I love that dye
