I've used the NYX matte nail polish. But it does tend to chip pretty quickly.
But on the other hand it dries within minutes.
I also have the Essie matte top coat. I think I prefer the top coat. It allows me to change any of the polishes I already own to a matte finish. Or you can do fun treatments with it, and leave part of nails shiny, and part matte (like french tip style).
China Glaze has a good one that came out in the Hunger Games collection. It's a matte grey with a bit of sparkle, so it's not a flat matte.
Beyond that, I love Illamasqua Scorn (matte black, the only matte they sell at the moment). And several companies sell matte top coats (Essie, e.l.f., NYC).
I love the look of matte nails. Like others suggested you can pick up a matte top coat and experiment with your own existing nail polishes. Many brands make great top coats including China Glaze and Essie. One of the best mattes I've used is from The Balm, it's a matte black. :)

Matte top coat is the best! you can combine it with every nail polish and it's a great effect. the bad thing is that it becomes chip eventually..
