Need help to choose make up products!!

I have been using Yves Rocher and elf products but now i have been watching all make up gurus on youtube using NRRS and mac and urban decay so i am very tempted to try out. Can someone help me suggest all the necessary products for everyday use (the must haves) and which brand should i be using? My skin tone is medium and i have a clear skin so i dont need much of a coverage

My "must have" high end product is a good mascara. I personally use Lancôme hypnose drama. It's $28 a tube and so worth it!
MAC is great for everything.

Thanks Every1 and @Airi .. I really apreciate your advise ... I was just curious to know about different products! But make up gurus are doing what they are passionate about that does not mean I will go bankrupt. Just wanted to try something new :) but I loved your advice and I will keep that in mind. Thanks
