How much you want to wager that most of those shades are the same as what's in their permanent range but with different names? I think my spidey sense is tingling a wee bit.
This is why i stopped getting UD. I end up getting all crazed by the hype and spend 50$ on a palette I dont need. I just gave away my black palette and traded my naked 2 and I haven't been missing them since I have other shadows in my collection that are similar. I think I'll just get individuals shadows from now on....I just wish they sold refill pans.
I love UD, their palettes are amazing, but they ALWAYS put the same shadows in different palettes. Sometimes in their new palettes, I love 2-3 of their new shadows, but I just can't get myself to buy a palette if they have shadows they've put in their older palettes. I own 5 palettes & I'm pretty sure I own about 4 half-baked HAHA.
Right?! HAHAHA it's a pretty color, but I just don't appreciate it that much anymore because it's everywhere! HAHA I was really disappointed when they put half-baked in the Naked 2 palette.
I think I would buy the vice only because I never got any of the bos palettes & my kids ruined my naked palettes. Plus I like the colors. BUT!! I agree with the re-using and duping us with these shadows. I don't get nearly as excited
I have a sinking feeling that Urban Decay is going to flip out and start producing palettes like MAC rushes to pop out new limited edition collections every other week. After their whole China drama I did some research on the company and learned from a March 2012 Wall Street Journal article (a business newspaper) that Urban Decay is currently on the selling block but have yet to have any major interest from possible buyers. Which makes them wanting to originally go into China more important since it would've made them more worthy of a buyout. Even though I trust the Wall Street Journal since it is a business newspaper I did reach out to a VC (venture capitalist) that I know and he said that he heard as well that Urban Decay is currently on the block for sale. So hang-on girls....UD might disappoint us again. :(
urban decay really doesn't need to create another neutral shade...ever. good golly.
i tend to agree with you, shelly. i'm not going to bother with the neutral shades, although blitz does look interesting. they seem to be almost dead on for most of the colors UD has. but i'm just going off internet pictures, which are always tricky.
Quite a few of these colors look pretty similar to what was in the BOS IV, and I think Shelly T. is right, there is more than likely some repackaging/renaming going on here. I'd like to get it if I had extra money just because I love UD, but I'll probably pass on it.
When are they launching these new palettes? I finally got one of their on sale/discontinued Skull shadow boxes ( had shades I don't have) and I'm really pleased with it- marked down from 36 to 12 bucks- and got a bunch of goodies including 4 samples of the new Naked Skin liquid foundations....not bad! But I do think its a little annoying that they put the same, or really similar shades in all their palettes. I know they discontinued this shade "Snatch"- pink champagne with gold glitter flecks, that was in the Show Pony shadow box, and I suspect they just added cool silver glitter to the pinkish base to make a new shade.. I guess that's easy enough to do. Gotta love Urban, snagging us continuously with snazzy packaging, cute names, and great shadows....though a little rip-off- esque :D

@Ashley - I have to agree. Six shadows and knowing UD it's going to be at least $32.

Borrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing.
Instead of coming out with mediocre eyeshadow palettes, they should start focusing on other makeup items they have.

At this point in time I don't have any info on release dates or prices. The pictures came from UD employees or associates.
