I love UD, their palettes are amazing, but they ALWAYS put the same shadows in different palettes. Sometimes in their new palettes, I love 2-3 of their new shadows, but I just can't get myself to buy a palette if they have shadows they've put in their older palettes. I own 5 palettes & I'm pretty sure I own about 4 half-baked HAHA.
Right?! HAHAHA it's a pretty color, but I just don't appreciate it that much anymore because it's everywhere! HAHA I was really disappointed when they put half-baked in the Naked 2 palette.
I think I would buy the vice only because I never got any of the bos palettes & my kids ruined my naked palettes. Plus I like the colors. BUT!! I agree with the re-using and duping us with these shadows. I don't get nearly as excited
I'm quite excited to see what shadows are in the Vice Palette. I'm definitely eyeing that royal blue shade. But if I see at least 3+ shadows that are repeats, I'm going to have to really think if the money is worth it :/
Just to keep the conversation going about the VICE Palette the ones that Angelique D posted I had posted a few days ago here: http://www.beautylish.com/t/rigzq/m...
I have a sinking feeling that Urban Decay is going to flip out and start producing palettes like MAC rushes to pop out new limited edition collections every other week. After their whole China drama I did some research on the company and learned from a March 2012 Wall Street Journal article (a business newspaper) that Urban Decay is currently on the selling block but have yet to have any major interest from possible buyers. Which makes them wanting to originally go into China more important since it would've made them more worthy of a buyout. Even though I trust the Wall Street Journal since it is a business newspaper I did reach out to a VC (venture capitalist) that I know and he said that he heard as well that Urban Decay is currently on the block for sale. So hang-on girls....UD might disappoint us again. :(
Angelique D. got them from another thread I did on UD products. I got them from my members at a different forum who in turn got them from the packaging designers websites, Instagram and Twitter accounts. Urban Decay is VERY pissed that these images have been leaked because they sent me a heads up on Facebook that they would be deleting my posts..
I think UD should concentrate on making a NAKED skin concealer and EXPANDING their shadow range, lipstick, glosses before doing palettes! The Vice palette looks like some of the regular shadows with new names! I swear one of them is radium with a different name!
I actually found the pictures on makeuptalk.com, not on the thread you posted earlier Yasmin. I didn't realize you created a separate thread for those other palettes, until after I posted those pictures. I apologize for that, but no need to assume I stole them off another thread you posted.
Ahh! Same place as I did (I'm the Community Manager there). LOL I just didn't mention the name since it's a competing beauty forum and that's a rule violation here (and on most sites). LOL ;)
i just want to rant & say i hate these zipper palettes. i'd rather see tin palettes, like the mariposa palette. i'm starting to cringe when i think about urban decay now.
I like the palette but $59 bucks ouch! I mean yes I have the naked one but man UD its the holidays for crying out loud. Im sure most of them are repeats anyway lol
Gotta say I can't believe they are coming out with ANOTHER Naked palette. I got the first one ages ago, just got the second. OTOH if this one is guaranteed matte, I may get it, just because I know it's 100% office-safe and I won't accidentally have a spare speck of glitter where I shouldn't.

I'm a sucker for UD so I can't promise that I won't get the Vice palette but for the Naked Basics? Nah, I'll find some matte shades somewhere else.

They need to stay away from eyeshadows in general for the next year.
