The picture is of the french tips I did with....a...rubber band. I love this trick and it really is pretty easy. Basically all you do is tighten the rubber band around your nail and shape it to the shape you want. After that is done you simply paint the french tip. I love it! Hopefully you like it to and I created a 1 minute video on how to do this. You can find it by checking out my videos.
What are your french tips tricks?

Sweet! That's a cool tip. I've tried using tape or bandaids like other people have suggested but it just ruins my polish even if it's dry. Definitely going to use this trick, thanks!

I use an old concealer brush and dip it into acetone and shape the white on its own like the ladies do in a salon. I always watch whenever someone is doing my hair or nails to see their technique. This free hand method is tricky the first two times or so but it gets easier and the process gets faster! I can now do my French manis in about 8 minutes lol

I just paint on the white line then i grab any thin tip paint brush , dip it in acetone and crisp up the line. Then i grab a sheer pinky or sheer nude color and paint the whole nail even on the line cause it wont cover the white line when using a sheerish tone

I usually use tape to do the tip and then coat the entire nail with Orly Nailtrition. It's a very sheer pink and I like that it not only looks nice with my tips but it's also strengthening my nails.
