I posted this in GENERAL but thought this might be a better forum. What salon do you go to? I went to the same stylist from 3 -24 and am wondering about other's fav stylist. Where do you go in your hometown??
I go to a salon in one of the towns next to me. Very small (only two stylists who've owned the place for 20+ years) with a loyal clientele. I'd rather not say the name in public, as I'm a bit leery about that sort of thing.
I'm lucky and have a friend who works in a salon. She gives me a HUGE discount on cuts, color, styling and products. Of course I always give her a great tip ;) If I didn't have her, I would probably go to smaller salons. They are more customer-oriented.
I do the same thing as edie mentioned. I have a great girlfriend that works at a salon and she always hooks me up. Plus she has crazy OCD which is great for a hairstylist :)
What salon's do they work at? I'm trying to build a list of awesome salons across the country, who better to ask than the beauty oriented and hair conscious. If the stylists don't mind I'd love to know where they work.
My momma does my hair :) My family used to own a salon before I was born, so I've never stepped into a salon for a haircut. Yay for saving money on cuts and color! lol
Terry at Salon Purple in Fort Worth! He's been my hairdresser for about seven or eight years. I'd go in with barely an idea, he'd start cutting and we'd tweak it until I was happy. Usually with one or both sides close to the scalp and no two sections the same length.
I'm a licensed cosmetologist in Brownsburg, Indiana. I actually do my hair myself because I've never been happy going anywhere else. I love natural texture and when you have a wave/ curl like I do, the cut and color has to be perfect. I am OCD about hair. Especially the cut. I wash, cut, style, then finish cut most of my clients. Others, like my curly girls I cut dry, then wash and style. My color and my products are both nature derived and organic... As much as a color/product line can be. All free from.

I knew Utla did blow outs, but I didn't know they cut hair and did color as well. Talk about total beauty!
