Jergens Natural Glow is definatly the best. its best found at Ulta for around 8-10 dollars a bottle. Its nice smelling and comes off within a few days. (:
i work in a tanning salon, and i would definately say Norvell products and California Tan products are the best. Depending on which salons are in your area, most have some sort of self tanning. whether its where an employee airbrushes you, the machine does it for you, or the products for you to do it at home. But i've had the best and most natural results with Norvell products (which specialize in sunless) and California Tan.
:) and just make sure you exfoliate really really well before hand. with "freshly showered" skin and no moisturizers on before hand. but if you buy the products from a salon they should tell you how to do everything. good luck! :)
Comodynes self tanning towelletes are great. You should however use gloves, or else some of the color may remain on your hands.
If you buy it and try it, make sure your skin is clean and soft. Use a body wash that has moisturizer in it. Put lotion on any dry areas like elbows and knees. These areas will appear darker if you don't. You will need 5 to 6 towels to get an all over even color. One for face, neck area, ears back of the nect. One for each arm. One for each leg. One for mid section and back. The towels have a tendency to roll up as you apply. I found that if you place them on your open hand with fingers apart it's easier to apply. Wash hand by rubbing palms together under water. Then apply lotion to your hands. If you use soap your hands will have no color and it will look funny. Put sunblock 30 on over top of the tan after the tan has dried. I have had an ongoing battle with skin cancer on my face. No one told us that getting burned as a kid in the 70's to wear sunblock. IT'S VERY IMPORT TO WEAR SUNBLOCK IF YOU SOMEONE WHO BURNS!!! I really like this product. The lotions with color in it melt off you after a while and so does other products. It's pricey but worth it!!
I love Fake Bake lotion i have my bf apply it to me if you do you use it MUST WEAR GLOVES you will look like you rolled in mud but after you take a shower in the morning you wake up with a beautiful glowing tan. I also love Tan towel products that is a gradual tanner i use that to keep up on the Fake Bake... :)
Jergens Natural Glow and Protect. I love mine. It is not the instant tan in a can so if you're looking for those, you might wanna try Million Dollar Tan in Cabana Tan Extreme. It develops color within 6-8 hours instead of days.
I recently bought the Loreal Luminizer Self Tanning Lotion.. I really like the color it gives. But def wear gloves or scrub your hands with a makeup remover wipe after applying. It doesnt look orange but its hard to not get streaky because it rubs off some areas while sleeping. Just takes practice is all :)
Hi Becca! You should try Beautisol's dark self-tanner called Summer Glow! http://www.beautisol.com/Summer-Glo... It has "Color Correcting" pigments in it which cancels yellow and orange looking tans and a odor eliminating technology called Pure Scent so you don't smell like self-tanner (or burnt biscuits) hours later! Let me know if you have any questions! Happy to helps!
