okay so ive always been into makeup so i berly decided to invest on makeup..and i want to have more and more makeup but i need suggestions on what i should be starting off with,,and me im the type of person that i will invest in good makeup..drug store makeup is OK buy i prefer high end...well not that high end but like mac,, makeup forever..urban decay ...etc..thank you it will be so much helpfully if anybody lets me know.
A good start would be brushes. What makeup item are you more drawn to? I love eye shadow and have an embarrassing amount. I like blush, but only have a handful (a couple of hands) of blushes. Some women love blush and have tons of it. Some women love lashes, but I don't own a single pair of lashes. One problem I discovered since my collection ballooned is the constant angst of not finishing products.
If your just starting out with makeup there is no need what so ever so go out and buy a $25.00 foundation. Expirment, start out at a drug store and look for lower priced foundations. try a few out. Soon you will find what you like/love. eyeslipsface.com has very cheep good quality makeup. I also suggest to invest in a good makup brush set. elf sell's there studio set for around $25.00. the brushes are amazing and they stay in good quality for a long time.
For every day needs:
foundation
setting powder
eyeliner (you can even play it up with different colors)
mascara
lip gloss/ lipstick
&..
a blush
i just currently have a mac bronzer which is (give me sun), mac blk eyeliner, mac neutral brown eye shadows only, which i want so many different colors for different looks, i have sum elf, mac, sonia kashua brushes nd sum lipsticks nd lip gloss frm mac..so thats about it. what im trying to invest on is some good eye shadows that are well pigmented..well im trying to invest more in a makeup starter kit..to do makeup on friends and myself for more practice.
I personally think that eyes/eye brows and lips are the most thing on your face that you should be experimenting at first, check some lip sticks/ glosses you might be interested in. Depending on your eyes different shadows can make them pop! But I think definitely always use the blackest mascara, it always look so gorgeous!!! <3 don't forget to define those wonderful brows :) they make the face.
I think that Urban Decay is really good, if you buy their sets. They're amazing deals, just don't buy they're things individually, though. Sets and palettes. Also, Inglot is really affordable, though it doesn't seem like it, and I love it!
The Coastal Scents/BH Cosmetics pallets are a great place to start for a wide assortment of colors at great prices. They are certainly no Chanel, Cle de Pau, or Guerlain, but they don't suck either.
You should try wet n wild's eyeshadows if you want to experiment with color. They're really pigmented and less expensive, so that way you're not blowing a ton of money on a blue eyeshadow that you probably won't be using every dau

What items do you currently have? And what would you like suggestions for? (eyeshadows, blush, brushes, etc.)

The Naked palette from Urban Decay is great, the original is good for warm skin tones and 2 is more fitting for cooler tones
