a good, cheap straightener you can get almost anywhere (in australia at least) is a VS Sassoon youCurl! I don't use it for curls but it straightens like a dream, even on my thick, curly, long hair! x

I currently have a CHI but I'm curious about other straighteners...
So what are y'alls favorites?

I prefer NuMe Style - http://www.numeonline.com. Seriously WAY better than a CHI.

Just got back from a Salon Centric hair show and the new BaByliss pro straighteners were all the rave! Bought one and LOVE it!

GHD! It works really well, but it did break a year later.

I've tried a couple, but I always went back to my Solia. I've had it for years and it still works well.
