So I've been really wanting to do something new to my hair and I wanted to dye it. I got highlights a couple years ago but they're finally gone and I really don't want to damage my hair since it's so weak. So can anybody recommend any dyes that won't be too damaging?

I would say go with a semi-permanent but it is still bad for your hair. Have you seen the recent trend of hair chalking? Its not damaging to your hair at all and lasts for a day so you can try out fun colors.

Semi-permanent is a good option if you're not really wanting a long-lasting color. I usually just use a permanent w/ a 10-20 volume developer. Clairol Professional is great. It's sold at Sally's.

I suggest a semi-permanent or a temporary dye, but those are usually in those fun colors......but MOSTLY and IMPORTATLY go and get your hair done by a professional regaurding dyes, they are the best chance you have at a non-damaging hair dye.

Henna! Henna hair dye is INSANE!!! The color is always beautiful, and dimensional. And it's actually GOOD for your hair. Problem is it's terribly difficult to get the right shade. :( But I super duper love Lush's henna hair brick thingies. I used the red ine, and holy hannah! GORGEOUS!!! I think I might actually do one third red, and two thirds brown... :D
