my foundation routine works for me if I'm going to just be sitting around doing nothing.
But my face throughout the day gets dry under my eyes and greasy around my chin and nose, so my makeup kind of runs off and gets smudgy and gross.
Does anyone know of any foundations or have a working face makeup routine that works against this problem?
HELP.

Are you wearing a face primer?

Murad oil control mattifier is really nice. It is a moisturizer and primer in one. It will hydrate your skin and dries to a matte finish, so you can use it as a base for your makeup much like primer.

I do use a primer but I think I should switch the one I use.
This all really helped a lot! Thanks :) I'll have to do research and then go shop.

It could be the kind of foundation you are using. I notice when I used Mac studio fix fluid No matter what did or use as far as primers goes the foundation looked oily and was moving within a couple of hours. If you find that primers are not working with that foundation then I would say try a new foundation and see how it works for you.

I tend to apply my foundation right after I apply my moisturizer because my foundation goes on a lot better and it looks better. I find that when I allow my moisturizer and primer to set on my face for a certain period of time before I apply my foundation it doesn't go on as smooth and certain parts of my face like around my eyes have a flakey look to it.

For the parts of your skin that gets oily though out the day I would try a blot powder and some blotting tissues.

Also a good foundation that I like to use that goes no where is Revlon colorstay foundation.
