If you wash your hair everyday, you should cut that out of your routine and wash your hair once every other day. Your hair needs those natural oils that are coming from your scalp.
I've HEARD castor oil (you can get it amazon, ebay and even sally's) is supposedly VERY good for growing your hair fast. I've used it a few times myself. It's pretty annoying but worth it if you REALLY are desperate for longgg hair, right? hope that helps!
I always ask every hairdresser I go to this same questionnaire and I always get the same answer... drink plenty of water have a good diet and regular treatments. I love Moroccain oil :)
@jozette a prenatal vitamin shouldn't make you gain weight, but they do tend to have a lot of iron in them which can upset some people's stomachs. It works wonders for hair growth, though
Keeping up with your health is one of the most important things is getting your hair to grow. I agree with the other ladies who mentioned taking supplements. I take biotin, prenatal, and fish oil. Now, the thing to remember is that products WON'T make your hair grow, but will help you retain length. Getting trims can keep splits from traveling up the hair shaft, causing hair to break. Deep conditioning can help your hair remain moisturized if it is dry, as well as using natural oils. Trish mentioned castor oil and I really agree with her. From what I know, researched, and experienced, castor oil can aid in hair growth. It can make your new growth come out thicker if you have thinner hair, but you have to keep up with using it. Nothing is going to work overnight. Researching how to best take care of your hair type, as well as finding products that can help you retain your length and keep your hair healthy are some of the things I suggest to grow your hair longer. I hope this helps!
I'm currently trying to grow out my hair its up to my bra strap. Make sure you stay on top of your multi-vitamins also. Protein is very essential for hair growth. Egg whites have tons of protein without having to worry about cholesterol. Last but not least, water. Drink tons and tons of water! Hope this helped!
well i would love to know how to get my hair long as well the thing is im mixed white and black so i really dont know what to put in my hair to make it grow and not so darn dry
Also, consistent monthly trims will really help out with your hair getting longer, believe it or not. Ahah. Getting a small trim once a month prevents your ends from splitting or getting thinner, after a few months you'll notice the difference. You see your hair getting longer and it looks full throughout. That's definently a tip that helps with growing hair :)
Biotin, the vitiman makes your hair and nails grow. i also take a prenatal vitimin those make my hair grow too. and do a deep conditioner with a cap on(works best) at least once or twice a week to keep it nice and healthy, trim split ends. castor oil (for the hair) help with growth too! hope this was helpful!
