I have done a hair color removal about 6 months ago and after that I went to a salon and they put me some toner (which was good) but then it faded of course. After that I dyed my hair (I think it was February) with a medium brown toner but it came out almost black. That was probably because I had so damaged hair so then I had to fade it with olive oil. Now, I have medium reddish brown hair and I don't like the color so much... I mean, there's no solution to get the reddish tint away but I would want my hair to be medium brown. In my profile photo they look almost black but that's because of lighting. So any good advice please? Keep in mind that I have still damaged hair and I use coconut oil in my hair. (Does it fade the color?)

im not sure if coconut oil fades color, but if you want to keep color from fading, try using a color enhancing shampoo. the sun can also fade color so i use a spray in uv and chlorine protection from redken.
