Pamela J. Thought my time had come and gone, so glad I ran across your article! This is what I want to do, I love it, I love doing make up for my friends and their young ladies, and prom and weddings I've always just done it never really thinking that it could actually become a career! But I ran across the QC Academy, and just started DREAMING!!! Haha One day soon I am hoping to do this as a career, how fabulous would that be? And actually get paid for something that I love love love to do! I love helping women feel, look and be confident, I have learned that when a women feels beautiful she feels confident, and her stride is a lot more FIERCE! Kudos!! :)

Hi my name is Noemi I'm also new to beautylish and so far i love it i downloaded the app on to my iphone and im constantly on it..i love how we can come here for advice and support its very important there aint a lot of ppl i know that have a passion for makeup as me so i get discouraged a lot but i pick my head up and believe that i can make it in this business. Im only 21 years old so i have a long way to go but my dreams are to be a MUA not even to be famous but just to be successful enough to make a living out of it and be happy with my job. I think thats the most important thing so as of now i just finished cosmetology school here in the Bronx and im looking to expand as a hair dresser and MUA and im looking forward to everything im working towards!!

Nice to meet you as well! I already passed the practical so all I have left to take is the written. As far as what I want to do afterwards, I would really like to get a part-time job in a salon or spa. I took the extra classes for microderm and chemical peels too. The most important thing to me is that I'm going to be able to say that I am a licensed esthetician in CO. What part of Colorado are you in?
