Hey guys, another question for you...I have a hard time getting any useable pictures with my camera, where you can see true colours and detail of my makeup to upload. So what do you suggest in terms of cameras or lighting? I do most of my makeup in natural light, would investing in a vanity mirror be better or investing in a new camera? The country I'm in, Makeup is not quite a big thing, so photoshoots tend to be more on the natural side, therefore I obviously need to use myself to promote my work. Please help! would love to hear your advice!
Natural Light is really good, but for me my camera has different settings on it that allow brighter colors to be seen. Most cameras do this, or at least have face recognition so you just have to work with it. You always could edit it as well. If you don't have software a great free website is picnik.com. I use that a lot, and I take a lot of photos and videos for my youtube channel all with the same camera :)
Good luck Girly

Thanks so much guys... Seanta, I have tried every setting in different lightings and still no good success. Also when I do work in a Window, i end up getting a white wash> but you guys have been very helpful, i will experiment with LED's and maybe ill use a white fabric to tone down the amount of light I get..Guess its trial and error> XX
