You could try out the MAC Studio Tech if you want to stay in the MAC family -- heard quite a few good things bout that one. Good for normal-dry skin.
If not, you could try Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua (one of my personal faves) which is water based. Nice texture and decent coverage. Or perhaps the Laura Mercier Silk Foundation, which is on par with the Chanel one in my opinion.
Try NARS Sheer Glow or Sheer Matte foundation. Both are good depending on your skin type but this is an amazing foundation none the less! you should use a primer before foundation and powder to set your foundation to prevent creasing.
Mary - Yeah I did want to venture into NARS however also Illamsqua has been hyped to me! I do apply primer but maybe its not amazing as well as that I hate using powder! :/ What is the best setting powder you would recommend? <3
hey rozeena! have you tried tarte's foundation? it is da bomb!! i have been using it for 3 weeks now and it doesn't even look cakey at all. i used mac foundations for a while, but they have mineral oils that are bad for your skin and clog up your pores like no other. if you ever try it, let me know. good luck!
For a more full coverage foundation, I love Maybelline's Dream Smooth Mousse and for a lighter, sheer foundation, I love Stila's Tinted Illuminating Moisturizer.
