Hey fellow beauties! I'd really like your help. I've suffered from terrible acne in the past and I was hoping if anyone has any suggestions or products that help the scars to fade. I have been using aloe Vera gel for several months and they have faded a bit, but it's having no effect anymore :(
I'm naturally very fair skinned and prone to acne scarring (of course it doesn't help that I'm OCD and tend to mess with my face, but I still can scar even when I don't) I am in love with Neutrogena's Fight & Fade Toner. For me, it's a miracle product and I've found it incredibly helpful. I also find tea tree oil to be helpful as well as coconut oil. I'm using all of the above right now and it's really working great. Hope this helps, hun!
Hi ladies! One of the best and most natural products you can use on your skin to aid in fading acne scars is actually lemon juice! I recently did a blog post showing an at home, do it yourself facial mask to help reduce acne scars and blackheads. All you need are egg whites and 1 whole lemon. If you are interested then I would love for you to check it out. I, like you, suffer from stubborn acne scars and this is one of my favorite remedies. I'll post the link to this post below. Everything you would need to know is there! Let me know if this worked for any of you! :)
All you need is vitamin e oil! They sell them in little roller balls at whole foods or online. Its a relatively cheap and organic way to naturally fade acne scars (and it wont break you out, i promise!). It also works on stretch marks and burns. Hope this helped
hi beautiful people.. well i have been suffering from acne and the horrible scars left behind for years and so i did some research. i found out that there are many home remedies you can use to reduce scaring so i sort of put them all together! i use turmeric powder mix it with some lemon juice, milk and aloe Vera.. i should warn you the turmeric stains so please be careful with it. i do this like three times a week and i am seeing some results... and my skin is so soft!!
i know that coco butter is really good at evening out skin tone & fading dark spots, but almost all coco butter lotions ive seen contain mineral oil which can actually make you break out, so i would look out for that. i know their are some mousturizers and toners out there that claim to fade dark spots and help to prevent future break outs as well, so you could add some of those products to your daily routine. hope this helps!
i suggest cocoa butter and use it as a moisturizer at night,it fades my scars pretty nice. also apple cider vinegar! do 2 parts apple cider vinegar and 1 part green tea, apply it as a toner at night, and over time it`ll fade your acne scars and it`ll help with acne as well!
In Indonesia we use turmeric & tamarind as a masker. It will help to fade acne scars. Just mixed them together with warm water and use it for few minutes twice a week. Your skin also will glowing naturally. Hope it would help.
Hey Nicole,
It depends on the type of scar. Is raised or sunken in? Sometimes people get hung up on the color and they don't think they can do anything about the texture. There are a lot of really talented cosmetic surgeons and dermatologists that can do some great things. Just depends on how complex the scars are... check out these pics for examples. :-) http://www.drdayan.com/photos/Scar-...
vitamin E oil put it on and let it sit for a about 30 mins to a hour and them wash and moisteriz and they will fade in a few weeks but the longer you keep the oil on the faster they fade you dont want to put to much toner or anything like that cuz that will make them darker.
Here are some tips to remove your acne scars. Hope it will gives you better result.
• Egg whites are also used to get rid of acne. Apply it on face and leave overnight. Wash off in the morning.
• Neem is used for the treatment of all sorts of skin problems. It contains Nimbidol and Gedunin, which have very good fungicidal properties. Neem has proved to be beneficial in skin disorders such as warts, scabies, psoriasis, eczema, and even dandruff. It is extremely effective in acne treatment.
• Orange peel has been found very effective in the local treatment of acne. mixed well with water on a piece of stone, the peel should be applied to the affected areas.
