Get clip-on extensions at first! They're cheaper, won't damage your hair and if you don't like them, you can easily just take them off. I haven't used any extensions, but my friend has them and she says that when you've practiced enough, putting them on won't take more than 2-3 minutes. So I definitely recommend them.

YES! They are amazing and whenever you want to use heat, you will be using them on the extensions, not your natural hair so it makes for so much less damage. I usually get sew in extensions though. I would recommend getting fusions. They are pricier, but well worth it.

I really want to get extensions. i was looking at great lengths coz there seems to be fewer horror stories with them. All the horror stories of turning bald on the net has made me very cautious about getting them.

I would love to know any ones thoughts on great lengths...

Extensions are amazing and definitely worth it. Last year i got a bad hairdresser who chopped all my hair off up to my sholders. 20 mins later im at sallys buying extenstions. i got the 100% real remy european 18" clip in extensions & they were amazing. they cost me around 100$ with tax, but they were so worth it. clip in seems like the way to go, because you can put them in or take them out as youd wish. id also definitely recommend getting real hair instead of synthetic, so you can straighten, curl, and dye them as youd like :) just make sure you take proper care of them so they last. good luck!

You should definitely give them a try! Just make sure you research the hair and method you choose as well as take care of your own hair. I love extensions!

I bought some colored extensions because I didn't want to dye my actual hair and ruin it, they're clip ons which are really handy so I can put them wherever I feel like and I don't put them on if i dont feel like being purpley. I recommend you try them definitely.

I bought luxy hairextensions last summer and still have them, they are still in good shape. The 160 grm is perfect for people with thick hair.

Can you wash the extensions without them getting ruined ?

Yes, you can wash extensions. Be gentle with them, I'd suggest watching a youtube video tutorial to learn how:)

clip in real remy hair extentions are off ebay :). you can dye them and style using heat. $40 dollars. i have $300 dollar ones and theyre pretty much the same! just make sure you look after them otherwise they become ratty and fake looking.

Depending on how much you want to spend. Micro-Link hair extensions are great! No damage to the hair. I have two clients that have permanent follicle damage from using the fusion extensions.

Fake ~ Horse tail

Real ~ Poor people with lice

I have herd that hair extentions from dead people they have this diesese that kill you and like is real severe ( i think it starts with a p) and poor people with lice can contain deadly lice that can cause you to go bold or be really sick.
