Hello all, I really need your help.
In two weeks, I will be flying to California (and staying there for I don't even know how long) and I do have a problem. I have five perfumes that I want to take with me (since, like I said, I may be staying for a couple of months, or for the rest of my life I haven't decided LOL) and... I don't know how to pack them well! The last time I was in a plane was when I was 12 and I didn't have expensive and fancy perfumes bottles back then.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I do not want these perfumes to break. I have two Harajuku perfumes, Hilary Duff With Love, and Into The Wild by Bath and Body Works to give you an idea of what the bottles look like.

Buy a travelo and put your perfumes in them so you could bring it with you .

I've already purchased a bunch of luggage for other things, I really can't afford to keep buying more things. I need more affordable tips.

Hmm I have been traveling a lot lately it seems, and I am going to California soon too! Well, I would just wrap them in newspaper or something soft, like a hand towel or washcloth. Wrap them individually then place in a Ziploc bag together. Put that bag into another ziploc bag with some plastic bags like the ones that come from the grocery store, or even newspaper, and then place in between your clothing for added cushion. I think that's the best you could do.
just in case, which I think is unlikely, but if one does break at least the towels can help absorb the spill/leak

Now this I can definitely do! I have lots of bubble wrap saved up (ha, thank you makeupalley swapping!) so I planned on using that. I didn't think about the extra bagging (I was going to put them all in one bag with bubble wrap though :P) so that's a good idea, definitely. Thank you!

Been there done that. My best experience hands down was just to shipping them via UPS. It was cheap to do and it kept me from worrying about one less thing. If you do plan on bagging them in your suitcase watch out for the weight when wrapping them up....I've seen women at ticket counters who had to literally throw out stuff from their bag to meet the weight requirements for luggage. After experiencing lost luggage, cracked make-up and fragrances on numerous occassions UPS and FedEx has become my best friends and I pack just enough clothes to fit in a carry-on and are interchangable. Plus, I always stay with there is laundry so I can wash my clothes.

I guess I am lucky to have not had a bad experience with all that. I had a gallon sized freezer Ziploc bag filled to the top with nail polishes, it was probably about 50 of them, I threw them in last minute into a duffel bag with no sort of wrapping or protection just the Ziploc bag And it was surrounded by other hard items like my blow drier, curling iron, and shoes and nothing broke or leaked. I guess it's up to you, plus you said you didn't want to buy anything and I think you should have that stuff on hand. Oh and not to mention all that bubble wrap you said you have!! Goood luck! May you and your precious belongings have a safe trip!

Hm...
Well, I do have some flat rate boxes. I could probably ship the more expensive (and flat, unlike the round shape that Hilary Duff With Love has) bottles to my grandma's house instead of putting it in my suitcase. And then the small Harajuku and that With Love in my suitcase. That way, it'd be split.
