I'd like to try an other BB cream. I have already tried The Garier BB cream but I have oily skin and I found that it was to oily for my skin type. Any suggestions for a BB cream for oily skin types???

I use Smashbox BB cream and I too have oily skin. I've been using it for several months now and it hasn't broken me out or contributed additional oil. I set it with a light patting of Too Faced Invisble Trans. Powder and then I'm set for the day. And its not heavily secented like the Gariner bb cream you were using. It actually has no fragrance which is even better. Hope this helped.

All those aforementioned "BB Creams" are just overglorified tinted moisturizers and nothing more. If you want a *real* BB Cream, go Asian. Etude House has one specifically for oily skin (BB Magic Cream). Missha M Vita sets matte, so may be an option for you. Skin79 Super+ Beblesh Balm BB Cream VIP Gold Collection may be another one. Have a poke around eBay; you'll often find samples for dirt cheap. Full-size ones can be found inexpensively there as well. Just be sure to find a seller with a very high reputation.

Too Faced BB cream is great for oily or combination skin. I love it.

I love combining miracle skin transformer(the best American bb cream ever) and smashbox's bb cream. The coverage is so natural and my extremely oily skin stays matte and fresh all day. The garnier "bb" cream felt really gross and oily to me. It's not really a bb cream.

I agree with Shelly ! I've heard Smash box one is good for oily skin! But if you have really oily skin,don't forget to use primer!I'm sure it's gonna be huge difference(: and I like also smash box 's one for primer.hope this helped

Tbh im not a pro but i watched this korean show w/c is a beauty show and yeah korean bb creams are the best and i saw there that most bb creams gives u sheer and dewy effect so if bb cream does make u more oily maybe try the new neutrogena shine control powder on top of the bb cream hope that helps ❤

I use the no 7 one for oily skin. It evens me out and doesn't sink into my pores giving me that spotty "I've filled in my pores" look! And it's reasonably priced. I've tried all sorts of foundations and tinted moisturisers over the years, high end and drugstore ranges and this is definitely my favourite

Etude House and The Face Shop are known asian brands that sell the best bb creams aside from Missha M... I have an oily skin and i'm currently using the product from The Face Shop.

No BB cream is better then the Asian ones, because BB cream is Asian and most brands around here are just a knock-off. I buy the Lioele Beyond the Solution, I get it off here----> http://www.prettyandcute.com/Lioele... XD <3

Get an Asian one. They're the best. America can't do it like Asia can. Lioele and Etude House both make some really good ones.

The Maybelline Dream Fresh BB is actually quite nice with a separate sunscreen underneath it. It's lightweight. But it's also sheer, and it's semi-matte finish goes oily for me in under 4 hours even with matte powder over it. If you're indoors you won't have as much of a problem but probably not great for outings.

Some of the other BBs that have worked for me and my combo oily skin:

- [Kanebo] KATE Mineral Cover BB Gel Cream SPF30 PA++
3 shades (fair to medium), gel consistency, medium coverage, semi-matte finish, yellow undertones

- Hada Labo BB Moist Cream SPF32 PA+++
2 shades (fair to fair/medium), fluid consistency, sheer coverage, dewy finish, good broad-spectrum protection, yellow undertones, lightweight, alcohol- and fragrance-free

- MISSHA M Signature Real Complete BB Cream SPF25 PA++
3 shades (fair to fair-medium), fluid consistency, medium coverage, satin finish, neutral undertone, lightweight, hypoallergenic (but has slight fragrance...)

- SKINFOOD Good Afternoon Peach Green Tea BB Cream SPF20 PA+
2 shades (fair to fair-medium), cream consistency, sheer coverage, semi-matte finish, gray/neutral undertone, slight fragrance, some oil control

MISSHA Misa Cho Bo Yang BB Cream SPF30 PA++ has the most matte finish and the best coverage of any BB cream I've tried, but it's also very thick and feels heavy on the skin, so I'm not sure I recommend it for oily skin types.

Haven't tried the following BB creams yet (all from Korea), but I heard they were intended for oily skin or matte finishes:

- SKINFOOD Peach Sake Pore BB Cream SPF20 PA+
- SKIN79 Super+ Triple Function Vital BB Cream SPF50 PA+++
- SKIN79 Intense Classic Balm SPF35 PA++
- SKIN79 Super+ Perfection BB SPF25 PA++
- MISSHA M Vita BB Cream (Matte) SPF20 PA++

As for Western BBs, I agree the color selection is greater! But I have yet to try one that's worked for even my combo-oily skin, though I do want to try Smashbox's and Clinique's.

A lot of people make the mistake of applying BB cream all over their face like a foundation. You only need small amounts on the spots you need to cover and it should be applied using patting lotions with your fingers. But I agree about Korean BB creams. They're top notch. I have hated every American cream I've tried.

this doesn't really answer your question of what is a good bb cream for oily skin however I would not recommend the maybelline dream fresh bb cream as it is already a very oily product and does not last on your skin because of the oiliness therefore I would not recommend it. I am glad that I requested the free samples first as now I know that this product is not for me :)x

i tried the no.7 bb cream for combination skin and find my oiliness has broken out within 4 hours. it's fine on my cheeks, a nice light coverage but i'll be looking for a different one when this is finished.

I have the loreal ones, the youth code one is a little more on the greasy one i compare it to the garnier one, i have that one too, the loreal beautifuer or magic one cant remember the name is the best one, i use it as a primer under my makeup, and has a pretty matte finish., i use, it everyday...

Missha M Vita, Skin79's orange (the pink is kind of grey and is *not* matte! it works well but be prepared to use a lot of setting powder and a good matte primer): amazon for less than 20 bucks. Also, a lot of the American BBs are good but the CCs tend to be more geared for oily skin- more matte and less dewy. I use smashbox CC in light and *love* it.
