I'll be going back to college this fall and I need a drugstore foundation that lasts a good 5-6 hours. I used to wear Healthy Mix by Bourjois and it's a great foundation, but I'm bored of it and I want to try something new.
Oh and state your skin type and foundation coverage along with your suggestions.
Hey! I have combination oily skin and the coverage I like depends on the day. If you want a light to medium coverage, I would suggest the CoverGirl Natureluxe Foundation (I love it for the summer time). If you want a medium to full coverage I would suggest the Revlon ColorStay Foundation, it's probably the best full coverage foundation I've tried at the drugstore. For a very natural medium to full coverage foundation I would try the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse or Dream Smooth Mousse.
If you happen to have dry skin try the Fit Me Foundation by Maybelline. I have oily skin and I didn't like it because it felt super oily, but that might be good if you have dry skin.
I'm going to college in the fall too so I hope this helps!
I have combo/oily skin: I love color stay for a flawless finish and i apply dots of it around my face and blend with a stippling brush or wet beauty blender.
another good one is revlon photo ready. this i use everyday. light feeling but great coverage. try using a foundation brush with this. Elf flat top brush is 3$ and works great!
I have combination skin and i like Neutrogena Healthy skin foundation, it has medium coverage and lasts a good 6 hr+ depending on how you apply it. On my skin it lasts the longest if i apply it with a brush like the Real tecniques buffing brush or the Sigma F80 or F82.
I have combination skin with neutral undertones and a fair skin tone and I use Rimmel London Clean Finish Foundation and it works great! It gives me a poreless finish and it has natural shine control that won't clog your pores. It wears all day and looks amazing! I recommend trying it because it is amazing and it is only 5 dollars at your local drugstore :)
i put on revlon colorstay with my fingers, to me its easier to blend that way and it doesnt feel as thick. ive been hearing really good things about the new colorstay whipped foundation, which is suppose to be lighter and more of a mouse or cream and is suppose to withstand heat, which is good because the first few months of school are incredibly hot (in florida anyway) so maybe that will work out better for you :)
i actually use the color stay foundation as concealer all on my nose and a bit of my cheeks because its lasts a realllly long time, so im sure thats the foundation to go to if your foundation doesnt last long, I have EXTREMELY oily skin and i set it with rimmel stay matte powder :) or if i want more coverage mac studio fix powder over top

I was also going to say Revlon colorstay. However, L'Oreal true match is good too.

Haha everyone seems to love ColorStay!
How do you guys wear it? Sponge? Whenever I use a sponge, I have to dampen or else the foundation goes on super thick, very mask-y.

Isn't photo ready the one with a lot of shimmer in it? My skin is quite oily, so I tend to avoid anything with shimmer :/
Thanks for all the suggestions guys. You've all been very helpful :)
