Pretty soon, i'm going to be going on vacation with my grandmother for a week! I've gotten so into makeup in the past year, that my collection has probably doubled, maybe tripled in size (yikes!) I do have a makeup case, but I don't keep my products in there, and for only a week, I don't want to drag something that big with me.
I do have a few essentials, mascara, eyeliner, foundation, etc. But my eyeshadows are always bright, and I can hardly make up my mind on what colors I want to use in the morning, as compared to planning them out for a whole week!
So, if you have a huge makeup collection, how do you decide what to take with when you travel?
Hahahaha, well, I just got back from CA and I thought I was staying for a long time (personal issues changed so okay, I'm back in NC) so I brought everything in my collection that I enjoyed.
Now if I had known I was only staying a week, I would have just brought my basic face stuff: primer, tinted moisturizer, concealer, powder... I would have only brought one or two blushes, two completely different colours. One or two eyeshadow palettes. I do like variety but there's no need to bring everything. So just bring your favourites.
So basically, bring your basic face with you and then for eyeshadow/lipstick/etc, bring one or two your favourites. No more than two. You don't need so much for just a week.
