I have one of a butterfly below my belly button. I got it six months after having my eldest and it represents her. She was born with a cleft lip/palate and the butterfly represented, at the time, her ongoing transformation. From the age of six months to present age of 13 she has had 4 major surgeries and is scheduled to have two more before she hits 18. To me my baby girl is my beautiful butterfly. :)
I like them for the most part, but I do feel it can be overdone. I only have one so far, but I plan on getting two or three more by the end of summer, and then I will be completely finished with tattoos. I only have one so far, and I got that when I was 16 because my mom wouldn't let me get my belly button pierced. Things work out great when you have a friend in high school who does tattoos. My mom didn't find out about the tattoo until I was 17 in my second semester of college lol. I try to keep my tattoos in places where if I want to show them off, I can but if I don't want to then a shirt can hide them.
I don't mind them! I think some look absolutly fabulous and others look a bit difrent. On girls i love it on the lower back and on the foot. on boys i love it on the arm.
I have 3 myself, and am planning more. I have a pink koi fish, a ladybird, and peacock feathers on my left foot. I'd love to have the figure to have lots more, I need to let my inner pin up girl out!
I only have one piece as of now but I do plan on getting more. A tattoo is more than just ink. It's a form of self expression, of telling your story. Although I don't necessarily find anything wrong with people just getting something they like tattooed I feel the tattoos with a story behind them are more valuable and hold more meaning.
I love them! I have about 9 all over my body but since they are spread out it doesn't seem like I have that many. I don't care for tattoos all over the face and neck area but that's just me.
Absolutely love them!
Only got 3 so far, a little snake on my neck, because I love those (often misunderstood) animals, a clef on my right wrist because music means everything to me and 4 letters on my left arm, each the first letter of my parents', my brother's and my name; wanted that last one especially after my dad had died, because family got so much more important
I have 10 tattoos.. My first tattoo was at the age of 15.. I love tattoos so much i became a tattoo artist.. I have a portrait of my daughter on me and many more..
I got my tattoo at 16, my mom doesn't like tattoos very much, but she agreed and was with me when I got it. Now I just turned 17 and got her permission to get my second one.
I have mixed feelings about tattoos. I know so many friends and random people that have the most brilliant and beautiful tattoos and love them! I personally dont think I will ever get a tattoo just because I dont feel it would suit how I like to express myself. I like my blank canvas. I do explore of the idea of piercings time and time again, and I think I am more likely to get something pierced than drawn on me for eternity. =)
I think tattoos are a great form of expression. Its wonderful to take a glance at somebody and instantly be able to see an image, phrase, or symbol that's important to him or her. They can convey a mood, like being tough or sexy, and there's definitely different types for different personalities. I don't mind them, I think they're interesting, and certainly think there should be tattoo acceptance in the workplace.
I think they're super cool! I really want one but I get kinda nervous around needles, so I dunno how well that would work out... =P But I definitely think they're a great way to express yourself.
im not personally going to get one mainly because bi think that it ruins your body, but i also feel that it is a way people express themselves and they may look pretty depending on what it is and how well its put on ;)
Love them!
Only 16 but i've thought about getting a black leafless tree on my left index finger. Its a symbol in a story and i've always thought of it in certain situations.
I love tattoos and always ask people the meaning behind their artwork. BUT I do think it's ridiculous how some people get tattoos as a joke. Oh, you got a tattoo of a bald screaming Brittany Spears covering your entire leg? Cool.. *rolls eyes*
me personally i like tattoos!<3 some tattoos can look tacky but some look vintage and sheek:) in the future i would like a tattoo ... a peace sign on my wrist !!!!!X hope this helped xx

I think they're okay, but in moderation. If I were to ever get a tattoo (its a possibility) I would just get a small one that has a big meaning.
